What would you do if this were your event?
On 1st January 2025, Shamsud-Din Jabbar drove a pick-up truck along Bourbon Street in New Orleans before exiting the vehicle and opening fire. The attack killed 14 people, and 57 others were injured. The FBI determined the attack was IS-inspired.
The area had been blocked off by law enforcement in order to protect the public while they celebrated the New Year festivities.
Our Services
Counter Terrorism and Vulnerability Assessments
Our Counter-Terror Threat & Vulnerability Assessment is the foundation of proactive security. We deploy seasoned professionals to evaluate your organisation's security posture from an attacker's perspective, identifying gaps and loopholes that could invite infiltration. This comprehensive assessment considers everything from physical defences and access control to policies, procedures and emergency preparedness. The result is an objective, intelligence-driven report that pinpoints where you are most exposed and what to do about it.
Why it's critical: You cannot fix what you haven't identified. Our Threat & Vulnerability Assessments give you clear insight into potential weaknesses before adversaries exploit them. We provide a prioritised roadmap of cost-effective security improvements, so you can strengthen your defences and minimise exposure to attacks. In an era of evolving risks, this service ensures you stay one step ahead, protecting your people and operations through informed action.
Standard and Enhanced Tier Consultations
With the introduction of Martyn's Law (Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025), security isn't just best practice, it's a legal requirement. Different tiers of duty apply to venues based on their size and use. Our consultations demystify these regulations and guide you through compliance every step of the way. We help organisations determine which tier they fall under and develop proportionate security measures to meet and exceed the mandated standards. From retail to large public venues, we tailor our advice to your context, ensuring all required plans, training, and safeguards are in place.
Why it's critical: The stakes for non-compliance can be high, not only the potential penalties, but the safety of employees and the public. Our Standard and Enhanced Tier Consultations give you peace of mind that you are fulfilling your legal and moral duties to protect people from terrorist threats. We translate dense legislation into practical action plans: conducting risk assessments, improving site security, training staff, and establishing incident response protocols. By partnering with us, you will navigate Martyn’s Law confidently, protect your organisation’s reputation, and most importantly, keep your venues safe and prepared.
Protective Security
Effective security is never one-size-fits-all; it must be bespoke to your risks and operations. Our Protective Security Advice service provides you with expert guidance on fortifying your environment against threats. We assess your current protective measures (physical, technical, and procedural) and advise on enhancements aligned with industry best practices and national guidance. This can include strengthening perimeter defences, improving access control, optimising CCTV and surveillance, and refining guard force deployment and response plans. All recommendations are practical and field-tested, designed to deter attackers, detect suspicious activity early, and delay or prevent harm should an incident occur.
Why it’s critical: Implementing the right protective measures promptly that safeguard your people, operations and reputation. Too often organisations invest in generic security gadgets or measures that don’t address their real vulnerabilities. Our no-nonsense approach ensures every advice we give has operational relevance. We help you invest wisely in security improvements that work under pressure. The result is a layered defence posture that not only meets compliance obligations but also provides peace of mind that you’re as protected as possible against real-world threats.
Crisis Management
When a crisis strikes, be it a terrorist incident, natural disaster, or any major disruption, every second counts. Our Crisis Management services prepare your organisation to respond swiftly, decisively, and effectively when the unthinkable happens. We work with you to develop a robust crisis management framework: clear escalation plans, defined team roles and decision-making authority, communication strategies for stakeholders, and integration with emergency services. Through workshops and planning sessions, we ensure that when a critical event occurs, your leadership knows exactly how to coordinate and control the situation. We can also provide on-call advisory support during live incidents, guiding you through the chaos with experienced insight.
Why it’s critical: Crisis management has shifted from a “nice-to-have” to an essential organisational function for resilience and long-term success. A well-managed crisis can save lives, protect your brand, and preserve business continuity, whereas a poorly managed one can compound tragedy and cause irreparable damage. By investing in crisis management now, you’re effectively buying insurance against chaos. We ensure that you’re not caught off-guard: key decisions will have been anticipated, teams trained, and responses practised. In those first moments of a crisis, you will act with confidence and control, rather than panic. This level of preparedness can mean the difference between a quick recovery and a prolonged catastrophe.
Crisis Training (including JESIP)
Plans on paper are not enough; your people must be ready to execute them under pressure. Our Crisis Training programs equip your team with the skills and muscle memory needed to handle high-stress incidents. We design and deliver bespoke exercises ranging from tabletop simulations to full-scale drills, exposing your staff to realistic crisis scenarios. This includes testing communication flows, decision-making, and inter-departmental coordination. We also incorporate JESIP (Joint Emergency Services Interoperability Principles) into training for clients who may interface with police, fire, or ambulance services. By teaching your team JESIP’s multi-agency coordination models, we ensure that if a major incident occurs, your organisation can plug seamlessly into the wider emergency response, speaking the same language as first responders and working toward a unified command structure.
Why it’s critical: In the heat of a crisis, training kicks in when adrenaline takes over. Regular crisis training builds confidence, reduces panic, and uncovers flaws in your plans before real lives are on the line. Notably, a lack of joint training and exercises has been identified as a major barrier to effective emergency response, which is why we emphasise multi-agency scenarios and JESIP principles. By training with us, your team will know their roles instinctively and collaborate smoothly with external responders. This translates to faster, more coherent incident management and a greater chance of protecting people and assets when it matters most.
Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) Operations
Drones present a new class of threat that can bypass traditional security, from rogue surveillance of sensitive facilities to potential delivery of harmful payloads. Our Counter-UAS Operations service guards your airspace against malicious drones. We deploy advanced detection technology and specialised operators to monitor the skies over your critical sites or events. If a suspicious drone is identified, we have protocols to track it, gather evidence, and work with authorities on safe neutralisation. (Legally, most organisations cannot themselves jam or capture a drone, but we help implement other effective risk-reduction measures). Our team will also conduct UAS-specific vulnerability assessments for your location, analysing how a hostile drone might approach, where its operator could be, and what assets it might target. Based on this, we develop a customised counter-drone plan, which can include electronic detection systems, visual observers, procedures for security staff, and liaison plans with police counter-UAS units.
Why it’s critical: The drone threat is real and growing. A single unmanned aircraft can quietly evade ground security and cause catastrophic damage or intelligence loss. Ignoring this threat leaves a critical gap in your security posture. Our C-UAS Operations close that gap. We give you the capability to detect and respond to aerial intrusions before they disrupt your business or endanger lives. Whether you’re a corporate HQ under corporate espionage risk, a sports arena filled with fans, or a government facility with sensitive airspace, our counter-drone service adds a vital layer of protection. It’s about staying ahead of adversaries, adopting cutting-edge methods to match modern threats, so you remain secure on all fronts, ground to air.
